What we see depends on who we are. And who we are depends on what we see.
But what do children see who are just about to become? We wanted to have as little influence as possible. That’s why we didn’t give any thematic direction: „Photograph your world“ was the only request. Hence the disposable cameras: no image control via the display, no subsequent delete function.
We expected a lot of rejects. Blurred or unsuccessful pictures. But we were completely wrong.
With excitement we unpacked the developed films and were speechless.
